Apprentice Program for
Brows, Eyeliner & Lip Courses
Practicing is the only way to improve and perfect the skill of Permanent Make Up. All students must master their homework in order to be fully prepared to take on their own clients. School of PMU offers weekly study groups where homework can be worked on and graded in a one-on-one setting with the instructor.
Homework:
- All students who have taken School of PMU’s training, are eligible to join our apprenticeship boot camp program for those who want to jump-start their career!
- Students will complete a series of practice work/training that will prepare them for their own clients with CONFIDENCE!
- Students will have the opportunity to work on four clients with the guidance of Shareen beside them at every appointment.
- Client forms and products, will be provided! This will be a great chance to create content, build a client base gain real-life experiences, and create portfolio!
Homework:

Lessons:
- Tackling a wide variety of brow pattern for all types of brow shapes/hair growth patterns.
- Adjusting blade handling per skin type.
- Brow mapping and brow shaping.
- Perfecting brow patterns and stroke composition.
- Brow design customization.
Appointments:
During an appointment at the School of PMU Academy, students will practice real-life interactions with clients and build their customer service experience. All appointments will be overseen by an instructor to ensure each appointment goes well.
After each appointment, students will be sent home with homework to practice and work on areas that they need improvement on. This will only grow the apprentice’s skillset to become a PMU artist. Not only will they receive professional advice, but they will also be building relationships with their clients that will grow their future clientele.

- Pass Application demo with instructor (50/50 hands on with instructor)

- Upward Strokes: Single, Double, Merged (Microblading & Nano)
- Medium Curve: Single, Double, Merged (Microblading & Nano)

- Head & Front Brow Design - Left & Right (Brows)
- Brow/Lips/Eyeliner Design
- Stretching Technique for 1 st Pass Application (Left & Right)

- Brow Growth Variations/Lips Symmetry/Eyeliner Balance
- Perfecting How to Blend in Strokes and Machine Movements

- Thick/Coarse Hair Spine & Coverage (Brows)

Total of 20 hours of Supervision. If you are interested in joining and are trained from another academy, you will be sent a questionnaire that has a passing grade of 80%. If the passing requirement is met, your apprenticeship will be at a cost of $1700 which will cover your permit cost as well as products needed in apprenticeship. A personal interview is required prior to admittance in the program.
PLEASE NOTE: School of PMU will not be providing models for students enrolled in the Apprentice Program. Students will be expected to book their own models.
