Shareen Adair

My name is Shareen Malik Adair and I’ve been an eyelash extension artist and permanent makeup artist for over 15 years. I have a passion for making my clients look their best so they can have the confidence they deserve.

By training other permanent makeup artists to do the same, I can help even more people to have that same confidence! That’s why I started the School of PMU Permanent Makeup & Eyelash Academy. I love helping my students reach their full potential and succeed in this incredibly rewarding industry.

2004 BS
In Microbiology

I graduated with a major in Microbiology and Chemistry from San Francisco State University

2006 Certificate in Clinical Laboratory Sciences

I completed an equivalent of a Masters Program in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from Cal State East Bay. I worked at Children Hospital Oakland and UCSF as a scientist until 2009 focusing on Oncology Research. I also started my first Hair Salon in Antioch in 2007

2006 – 2019 Various Salon Concept Creation

From 2007-2011 I owned hair salons in Antioch and Brentwood and worked as a threading artist while managing the location and it’s employees. It was in 2007 that I started to professionally work with Lash Extensions, certainly the first in this Market. In 2010, I started iCandy Eye Salon after noticing that even in the downturn of the economy, my books were full 6 months out.

As business began to grow, I decided to create a menu offering a wide array of “EYE” services and launched Permanent Makeup. My Training Career began with the inception of iCandy Eye Salon and I single handedly trained 400 employees in 10 years in all of the services.
